I do not visit the marketplace to search for new items usually, but as I was browsing to try some new demos, I spotted a lovely dress from LIZIAAH. I decided to have a look at the rest of the clothing line and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I kinda liked a few items on display and that the prices were quite reasonable.
Pretty much everything went into my cart and well.. the rest is history and I am already unpacking bags in SL to examine my shopping spree.
Let me show you…
- Antique Corset Top
- Black Butterfly Top
- The Vibe Black Top
- The Vibe black Pants
- Cassandra Mettalic Dress
- l’Unique Dress in Black
I am not one to really do reviews but there are a few things to cover here.
As much as I loved the ideas and designs, there are a few things that I would suggest as areas of improvements in my humble opinion:
- All the clothing came in one layer – I suggest making sure you have all layers covered.
- I could see seems in a few tops – I don’t usually care much about it, but that is way obvious here!
- I loved the Cassandra dress, but the top and bottom aren’t well matched and the is a gap, the pant isn’t long enough.. the picture says it all.
- There were no prim parts for the bottom cuff of the pants, it plain looked odd in this day and age!
All in all, this is a really very decent start, with a few improvements here and there we can get some very lovely designs from a very promising designer. I will look forward to seeing more in the future.
I am late into blogging this, but Azul released another lovely Group Gift.
It does come with a prim ruffles attached to the top, but it drove me nuts as I could not make it work like I wanted. So I went without and it turned out pretty well too.
Sunday afternoon, it’s hot and I am still tired! It’s the slow countdown to my august 10 day cruise with my SL brother Bert. So I decided to clean up my desktop – it is quite full of a zillion SL snapshots.
Some good ones got placed in Dropbox for future fun with – in the odd event I get to be any good with PS (I crack myself up sometimes!!) and the rest well to the trashcan as they will not be used or were already featured in posts.
Under the mess, I uncovered the 2 shots I took a few weeks back at Blacklace and at Egoisme.
As you know I was featured as the Centrefold for HBM magazine under Blacklace’s sponsorship, so Mariska got my awesome pic on the wall! Need I say I nearly fell off my chair when I saw it?
And well… my very good friend Ramses Meredith – owner of Egoisme allowed me to play supermodel and pose for the promo texture of the Gogo girl outfit recently released! I ended up as a massive poster on one of the main buildings!!!
Now I wonder… where will I be next?
This morning I discovered the Sea Hole, which amazingly enough brought me back to my Jules Vernes days. The Store was stunning in design and the clothes not bad at all. I stumbled upon this baby and the minute I saw it I wanted to be a little fairy in the woods.
